The branch we have to develop is mining. Soils of Chukotka are very rich in gold, tungsten, tin, coal. Our task is to attract investors who would be involved in mining and extraction of minerals. A profitable business can be run in Chukotka, which has already been proved by time. Several companies, such as Polymetal, Kinross Gold feel quite comfortable in such a harsh environment, continuing to increase its presence in the region, which, in turn, positively affects the development of the economy of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug”.
