Energy Ministry strengthened with a gold miner

Dmitry Medvedev, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, has signed a decree on appointment of Aleksey LeonidovichTeksler as Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation.
Prior to his appointment to the Ministry of Energy, Alexey Teksler headed the Krasnoyarsk business unit of ZAO Polyus. New Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation will be responsible for financial and economic activities of the Ministry, issues of corporate governance of organizations of the fuel and energy industry with state participation, as well as the implementation of government programs and issues of tax, customs, land, investment and other policies modernization and innovation in the energy industry, common to all branches of the fuel and energy industry.
Biography:
Alexey LeonidovichTeksler was born on January 19, 1973 in Chelyabinsk in the family of employees.
In 1995, he graduated from Norilsk Industrial Institute with a degree in Economics and Management in Metallurgy, engineer-economist.
From 1990 to 2007.he held various positions in AO Norilsk Mining and Metallurgical Zavenyagin Combine and OAO GMK Norilsk Nickel, from specialist to general director of the Norilsk Support Complex, a subsidiary of OAO GMK Norilsk Nickel.
He has experience in the state civil service.
In 2008 – 2009, head of the administration of Norilsk.
Since 2011, Managing Director, head of the Krasnoyarsk business unit of ZAO Polyus.
