Russia increased gold bar production by one-third

According to Rossstat, gold bar production in Russian refineries is increased by 28.7 %.
According to Rosstat data, Russian companies have considerably increased production of gold for the first half of the year. Following the results of January-June 2014, the oremining and production of gold containing concentrates increased by 15.6 % comparing to the same period of the last year, and production of the gold bar increased for the same period by 28.7 %.
Palladium and palladium-based alloys production was slightly lower – by 0.9 %, platinum and platinum-based alloys production increased by 10.3 %. Rough diamond mining is reduced by 9.2 %.
According to Rosstat data, production of gold containing concentrates increased by12.5% in June 2014 comparing to June 2013; production of gold bar increased by 20.4%. Palladium and palladium-based alloys production is reduced by 19.1 %, platinum and platinum-based alloys – also reduced by 12.6 %.
