In January-April, Irkutsk Region increased gold extraction by 8.9%

In January-April 2016, subsoil users of Irkutsk region produced 4.123 tons of gold, that is by 8.9% more than in the same period of last year, - told to PRIME agency in the regional government. Production of alluvial gold in the region started just in April; it has amounted 446.12 kg (4.9% reduction) by the end of the month. In particular, "Lenzooto" holding companies (included in JSC "Polyus") produced 236.12 kg (13.3% decrease), JSC "Vitim" - 210 kg (6.5% growth).
Volume of lode gold production has increased by 1.8% to 3,677 tons for the last four months, including:
- JSC "Vysochayshi" – 1,863 tons (3.5% reduction);
- JSC "Pervenets" (ibcluded in "Polus") – 1.641 (28.1% growth);
- "Druza” Ltd. – 173,3 kg (69.7% growth).
The government also reported that for 2016 the companies were provided with certificates for production of 21.462 tons of gold including "Pervenets" - by 5.14 tons, "Vysochayshi" - by 5 tons, "Druza" - by 740 kg, "SUZRK" Ltd. - 100 kg, "Lenzolot" - to 5.025 tons.
