In the first four months of 2016, subsoil users IN Magadan region produced 3.28 tons of gold and 302.2 tons of silver. In comparison with the same period of 2015, gold production increased by 738 kg as well as silver production is slightly decreased. According to the governor of the region, Vladimir Pecheny, the region in 2016 may reach a new gold record. In particular, it is planned to mine at Pavlik field by 2-3 tons of gold more than a year earlier. Recall, that in 2015, 1.1 t of gold and 270 kg of silver were mined at Pavlik field. Total production in Magadan region was 24.5 tons of gold and 1,1 thous. tons.
