The Ministry of the mining industry of Mongolia reported that in the first four months of 2016 Mongolia produced 7.4 million tons of coal, 2.7 tons of gold and 404.1 thousand tons of crude oil. The production of fluorspar concentrate for the same period amounted to 58.8 thousand tons, copper ore concentrate 1,386.8 thousand tons, iron ore concentrate 713.1 thousand tons, zinc concentrate 29 thousand tons. For the first four months 557.5 thousand tons of copper concentrate, 1,386.8 thousand tons of iron ore, 4.3 tons of gold, 5.0 million tons of coal and 392.3 thousand tons of crude oil were exported, the report said.
