Subsoil users of the Magadan region in January-July 2016 increased gold production by 11.06% compared with the same period a year earlier - up to 12.955 tons, silver production has been reduced by 21.32% - down to 517.573 tons, reported Agency PRIME with the reference to theMinistry of Natural Resources of the Magadan Region Administration."The total volume, 5,818 tons (growth 19.7%) of gold are mined from primary deposits and 7,137 tons - from placer (up 4.9%)," noted in the department.
Gold produced during the reporting period by regions:
- Susumanskiy – 2861.3 kg (growth 17,9%);
- Tenkinskiy – 2777.4 kg(growth130.7%) against 1203.8 kgin the same period of 2015;
- Yagodinskiy– 2752.6 kg (reduction 7%);
- Severo-Evenskiy – 2245.8 kg(reduction 23.5%);
- Omsukchanskiy– 1516.9 kg(reduction 1.28);
- Srednekanskiy– 593.4 kg(growth28.8%);
- Khasynskiy – 134.3 kg(102.3%) against66,4 kgin the same period of 2015;
- Olskiy– 73.0 kgagainst77.0 kg.
As reported, the companies of Kolyma in 2015 increased the gold production by 1.5% to 24.506 tons, silver - by 17.3% to 1,127.5 tons. The total volume of gold ore mined amounted to 9,245 tons, which is 1.4% more than in 2014. In placer mining,was increase of 1.6% up to 15.261 tons. In 2016 the local administration expects to increase gold production to 27 tons, the production of silver - in the range of 1,000 tons.
