There is the output growth at the gold mine “Mute” in Iran

According to the representative of the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO), production of gold bullionsat gold mining complex “Mute”, during the period from March 21 to August 20 of 2016 amounted to 117 kilograms. These data show that there was increase in production of gold bullions by 18% versus 99 kilograms produced in the same period last year. According to the IMIDRO report, only for the last month gold mining complex “Mute” has produced 25 kilograms of gold bullions, which is 13.6% more than the index for the same month last year, when only 22 kilograms of gold was produced. Complex “Mute” is located 295 kilometers south-west of Tehran. According to the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade,there are 15 gold mines inIran, 12 of which are operational and 3 are out of operation. Gold exploration works are carried out in most provinces, including East and West Azerbaijan, Kurdistan, Kerman, Khorasan-Razavi, South Khorasan, Isfahan, Yazd, Marchesi, Qom, Hamadan and Zanjan.
The National Geology and Mineral Exploration Organization of Iran believes that the proven and possible gold reserves in Iran are at a level of 320 tons.
